Christmas in Houston

We had fun in Houston today opening gifts and spending time with my family. Abby and Reagan received so much. The girls stayed behind to spend a little quality time with Maw Maw and Paw Paw. Meanwhile, Andy and I are relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet around the house. Here are some pictures from our trip. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday, Reagan! A Day Late

Not even two hours old

Getting to hold Reagan for the first time

Reagan's First Birthday

2 years old

Spunky 3 year old

Our precious Reagan Noelle turned three yesterday. Every time she shows her strong will or says, "I can do it," I keep telling myself she will be a successful lawyer or businesswoman. She brightens my day when I pick her up from daycare and she comes running to me yelling, "Mommy!" I love to hear her sing in the car and when she takes a deep breath while vocalizing. She has a way of making you smile and laugh when she's been a little naughty. Even though raising her has been quite the challenge, it has been rewarding. Happy birthday, sweet girl.

Reagan's Birthday Party

We had a great day with family and friends. We played a few music games and even pinned the wings on the angel. I made a boudin dip and pink cake balls. The latter of the two seemed to be a big hit. Reagan has enjoyed playing with her new toys and dress-up items. Thank you to everyone who made her day so special. Now, enjoy some pictures set to an old favorite of mine. Three is definitely a magic number!

Our Little Singer

Anyone who has been around Reagan for even a little while know she enjoys singing. It wouldn't even surprise me if she a member of Temple High's Polyphonics when she gets older. Of course, Reagan reminds me a lot of myself at her age. I was always singing to the radio while riding in the car. Eventually, I became a member of my own high school's show choir. Her favorite song to sing in the car right now is Dave Gahan's "I Saw Something." After dinner tonight, I caught some of her favorite songs on video. She was more than happy to sing for me and the camera.
