Fun at McDonald's

Reagan had her first dentist appointment back in March. Yes, it has taken me almost a month to publish these photos. I was shocked, and so was the staff at Dr. Boyd's office, at how well she cooperated. It took a few times to get the dental film in the right place, but being a little trooper, she didn't complain or start whining. She kept trying her hardest to keep the film in her mouth. Then, she waited patiently for the dental hygienist to finish cleaning the teeth of the boy next to her. When it was her time for her teeth to be cleaned, she opened her mouth and let Ms. Jill do her job.

Unfortunately, and the reason for Reagan's appointment, Reagan has two cavities on her bottom molars. The fillings will be done during the summer when I'm not working. I only have 1 sick day left and I need that in case I get some nasty bug and can't work. She will have to be sedated for the procedure because of her age. Stupid dental insurance doesn't cover this which brings our portion of the cost over $300! Boy, kids are expensive!

I don't take the girls to McDonald's that often. Maybe a total of 3 times a year. I thought I would treat Reagan to an ice cream cone for being such a good girl. Abby got to reap the benefits and joined along. The OCD in me shudders at the thought of them playing in that bacterial cesspool and I always want to bathe them immediately when we get home. However, they had a great time eating their ice cream and playing.

Easter Fun!

The girls had a great time today. When they woke up, the Easter Bunny left them surprises in their baskets. Reagan loves her Ariel socks and Abby enjoyed planting sunflower seeds in her tiny flower pot. The girls also received an outfit from Mommy and Daddy.

Reagan went to church with her Aunt Beth and Uncle Ron while Andy, Abby, and I visited Memorial Baptist Church. We are hoping to find a new church home soon. We had the Lord's Supper and I was very nervous as Abby held her grape juice in her hands. I just knew it would end up on her new dress. I think she was nervous, too. Andy noticed her hands were shaking and he held onto her juice until it was time. After church, we had lunch at Andy's parents' house.

Here are some pictures of the girls decorating their eggs and from this morning. I was disappointed I didn't get a picture of the two of them together. They have both been moody lately and didn't feel like posing for the camera.
Luckily, the sun came out and I was also able to take some pictures and a video of their Easter egg hunt.

Enjoy!
